Pawnee is a nice little trail horse, and the kids have ridden her all over. She is not afraid of obstacles, tarps, etc. She'll walk over the top of them if you ask her to. In these shots, I pulled her out of her pasture after not being ridden for several months, saddled up and handed her over to my 10 year old to ride. The wind was gusty and blowing, this kind of thing doesn't bother her. At most, she was a bit lazy for Morgan, but I sometimes prefer some laziness with the kids - much better than hot behavior! If taken out on the trail, she walks right out. She's a nice size for children, yet big enough for adults. She'll stand still for the kids to brush and love all over her, she will quietly stand still and set up for them during showmanship classes. If I didn't already have a handful of great riding horses, I'd keep Pawnee for myself.
